Hello. I have been waiting for a new Praying Mantis, and finally my mom found one in our kitchen on our cookies. We had chocolate chip cookies yesterday and after we finished our cookies we went to clean our room then I heard my mom say, "Joe, come hear, there is a Mantis!" And I rushed in. We named him Sparks. My dad made a triple bunk. Gabe and I are making the next one. We re-arranged our room and made it a nursery and made the rec room our bedroom.I'll post more soon.

Hello.
I have not posted in a long time, but I'm back.
I am continuing Joe Poison the book.
Did I Mention in any of my posts that I have 3 lizards? I used to have 4 but one died yesterday. My sister has 3 too.
My family and I have a homeschooling co-op every Tuesday that is ending in a couple weeks.
My brother Gabe has a blog that you should check out. It's called Meet Gabe.
We just ran out of cookies and one of my brothers, Ben, he's 4, is very sad about it.

Lizards

Hello. I've caught two lizards. Here is a story of how I caught one of them.
I was going on the side of my house and I heard a sound. So I looked and I saw two lizards fighting. I grabbed one and the other fell of. That's how I caught that Lizard.

Chapter 1 - Lost Parents - continued...

There was no question in Joe's mind that he would be embarking on this journey, though it flustered him that he wasn't given directions.
As Joe moved through the kitchen gathering supplies he thought about the trip ahead and which direction to go. After much speculation he decided to go through Temes, the desert. It was just a gut feeling.
Joe set off towards the Temes Desert just past the small town of Naro, where he had lived with his parents before they vanished. As he began travelling Joe wondered if he would ever see Naro again. He thought about the strange way his mom and dad disappeared as the sun beat down on him hotter and hotter with each step.
It seemed to Joe that time was going by unusually fast. His normal paced walk slowed until he collapsed into peaceful and restful, though short sleep.
After only two hours of slumber Joe woke startled by his new surroundings. While the desert lay behind him there was a change in in what was in front of him. It was a wall of water appearing to rise from the sandy desert floor, like an upside down waterfall.
Joe's normal life was about to change forever.

Chapter 1 - Lost Parents - continued

After Joe hung up the phone it took about ten minutes for a policeman to show up. Joe ran out to meet him when he saw the patrol car. But the helpful policeman Joe had expected was not helpful at all.

With an annoyed voice the police officer told Joe, "If you ever want to see your parents again you must travel to the other side of the world."

Confused, thinking he must have misheard the officer, Joe said, "But I'm only ten. I can't cross the world!"

Even more irritated and with no sympathy for Joe's situation the policeman replied,"I know you are only ten but this is the only way!"

Wondering what this was all about and why, Joe shrugged his shoulders in defeat and said, "Okay".

Without another word the officer drove away leaving Joe standing alone with no direction or further information to assist him on his quest to find his parents.

Joe returned to the living room of his house thinking about supplies he might need for his journey. He went to the kitchen after feeling the rumble in his stomach that reminded him he hadn't eaten breakfast yet. Joe pulled out some frozen pancakes the freezer. Sighing as he took each syrup covered bite, he thought of the impossible trip that lay ahead.

Chapter 1 - Lost Parents

"Ring, ring"
Joe woke up to the sound of an alarm clock, confused because he was sure he set his alarm
for 7:00 not 4:00.

"Chring,Bam!"
The sound of something breaking down stairs made Joe curious and he decided to get up and
go see what was going on.

At the bottom of the stairs he noticed that his mom's favorite vases were broken.
"Mom? Dad?" Joe called out while searching the house for them.
"Mom! Dad!" Joe's cries became louder and louder as he went from room to room.
It was not long before Joe realized that his parents were missing.

Joe reached for the phone and called 911.
"911 what is your emergency"
"My parents are missing"Joe said, worried.
"Joe, We already know".
"Oh, okay." Joe said, Confused by how they knew his name and that his parents were gone.

Hi, I know I've have not blogged in a long time but now I'm back. We moved from Washington to Florida and it took a LONG time but we like it here. It's hot in Florida and there are lots of cool bugs like BIG grass hoppers and BIG wasps. Well thats it for now. Bye.

This is Joe's mom and I am going to *try* to announce the winner of the Lego contest. We don't have our regular computer so I don't have the name of the winner but I believe his name is Jonah.

Congrats Jonah! We would email you but your info is on our other computer. The one on the moving truck.

I am really sorry about the delay on this. We had a two week notice to move (military) and have been struggling to get everything in order since. We should be back up and running by the first or second week of July but until then it will be hit and miss with computer time. Again, I apologize.

Do you like LEGOS? If you do go to Mantisology. We are having a LEGO CHALLENGE. We have already had our first LEGO challenge, now we are having a LEGO CHALLENGE 2. Last time you had to build a LEGO volcano now you need to build a LEGO T-REX. They can be Mega Blocks or LEGOS. That's going to be a challenge. You have to be older then 1 year old. Lets see if you will win. There will be a small, engraved trophy for the winner! Bye

Hi, it's Joe. I also own Mantisology. My mom owns Our Blessed Arrows. My sister owns Blessed Puppy Dog her puppy's Blog, Kaitlynology, that's her main Blog, and Read it, Review it her book review Blog. The other four do not have a blog. There's a 7 year old boy named Gabe, a 4 year old boy named Matthew, a 2 year old named Ben, and a 7 month old named Sam. We are Christians and we are home schooled. I am 9, and my only sister is 12,almost 13. My mom is 32 and my dad is 30. My dad has been remodeling the bath room. He is doing good. Well bye!

Lego Challenge Rules

Here are the LEGO challenge rules!

You must be between the ages of 1 and 120.
All entries must be obviously made of Legos. Other materials are allowed but they must not overshadow the “Lego-ness” of the challenge.
You must be able to submit a good photo(s) and/or video of your finished project by the date given for a specific project.
All photos will be subject to possible use on my blog or my family members’ blogs.
Your project MUST BE YOURS! If you are young you may get help from a parent or older sibling. You may also make this a group project!
Size is no object. Bigger isn't always better. Simple isn't always bad. Let your personality show!
Finished Challenges will be judged by my family and myself. I will make the ultimate decision on who wins.
To enter the challenge all you have to do is leave a comment saying that you are interested, and give your name (first name, last initial, and state you are in).
Winners will be announced on my blog the day after entries close. The winner will then give me their address (privately) to receive a trophy or medal engraved with their name and entry info. The winner's address will NEVER be published or used for any other purpose but to send you your award.

Depending on the difficulty of each project I would like to present a new challenge every month to every 3 months. I will participate however, I will never enter my project into the contest.
